San Michele Fountain ---
Like many other fountains built in the 12th century, the Fountain on via Osmano is built into a building and features an arched entrance to a space located below street level; access was possible through a staircase. It was equipped, at the back, with a very large cistern that was fed by the aqueduct of Prato Baglioni. This channel, which originated from Colle Aperto and ran along the entire north side of the hill to end at the Dolphin fountain in the Borgo di Pignolo, is now dry.
