Marino Angelo Rossi, Wood Carver ---

Together with the Urban Commerce District, we met Marino Angelo Rossi, a wood carver from Bergamo. Here is his story: On via Pignolo bassa, just a few steps from Piazzetta Santo Spirito, a small shop of wonders opens up. At the entrance, an easel, a few tools of the trade, such as chisels and gouges, and the intense fragrance of wood. Then paintings, some very large, others small and colorful, and sculptures, boxes, storage chests that fill the space with continuous inspiration. All meticulously and carefully carved by the artisan artist Marino Angelo Rossi. Here, every day he "works with precision," literally, and witnesses the birth of each of his bas-reliefs.
