San Rocco Fountain ---

The fountain was built between the 12th and 13th centuries. It was fed by a spring from Colle della Rocca, but its water supply was already exhausted by the 18th century; probably for this reason, it was called Fontana Secca from then on. The architectural features were common to other medieval fountains: it was composed of a very wide arch, it had an underground chamber whose access was made possible by a staircase, and on the back, a reservoir with a hatch for inspections and cleaning was positioned.
