Few can boast a long history in the production of Moscato di Scanzo and in the cultivation of this native vine which, for now four generations has been the soul of the De Toma family. Custom viticulture, to produce the precious passito wine. An ancient tradition, also linked to the great Bergamo architect Giacomo Quarenghi, which tells that he brought it to the court of the Tsar of all the Russies. According to legend, it was the year 1850 when this wine obtained its first quotation on the London market: the only Italian wine, Moscato di Scanzo, to be quoted on that exchange.
