The company was founded in the 1960s, when Claudio's grandfather purchased the business, which had always been dedicated to milk production. It was only in 2005, with the opening of the agriturismo, that Claudio's father took over. With the opening of the facility, the company also transformed, changing from dairy farming to meat production. Today, the Cascina Biffa agricultural company produces cured meats typical of Bergamo's tradition, and the attached agriturismo offers typically homestyle cuisine, made with products from its own production and local raw materials. Here, the signature dish is the tagliata. But the fresh pasta is also special, such as casoncelli, all strictly homemade.
