Valli Railway Station

The buildings overlooking the station square tell a story in constant movement, following the rhythm of technological innovations. The Ferrovia delle Valli building once housed the station from which trains departed directly to Valle Seriana and Valle Brembana, inaugurated in 1906. Passengers could thus also reach San Pellegrino, a famous thermal resort that was highly appreciated at the time. The Liberty style of the beautiful Casino and Grand Hotel of San Pellegrino, built in those years by the same Romolo Squadrelli, is echoed in less ornate forms and adapted to the different use of the stations along the railway line.
