Santuario di Sommaprada ---
The Santuario di Sommaprada is located on the road connecting Clusone to Rovetta, in the Conca Verde locality, in an area dominated by meadows and plants along a steep bank. Also known as the Santuario della Madonna dei Viandanti, it was built in 1544, following the miracle of July 2, 1533, when the small chapel in that place bearing an image of the Madonna suddenly lit up to aid a group of woodcutters attacked by brigands. On the walls it is possible to see some offerings left by pilgrims to the Madonna. On the external façade is displayed a 1921 fresco that depicts the image of the Vergine di Sommaprada and, in the background, Rovetta, while inside the Santuario is preserved a late fifteenth-century fresco with the image of the Madonna holding the Child in her arms.
