Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie ---

The church, located in the center of Ardesio, was built to commemorate the miracle that occurred on June 23, 1607 when the Virgin appeared to two young girls. The miracle was renewed and a canonical process began: in the place of the apparition, the inhabitants of Ardesio built a church. The original small church was embellished and renovated until it became the current splendid sanctuary, to which pilgrims come to pray even from other provinces.
