Greppi Hall ---
The history of this concert hall is linked to the history of a man, Giuseppe Greppi, after whom these places are named. The hall has been home to the Teatro dell'Immacolata since the early 1900s and in 1981, on the initiative of an active local committee, it was renovated and took on the name of Sala Greppi. It is a tribute to Giuseppe Greppi, a man who lived in the second half of the 1800s, who dedicated his life to the Oratorio dell'Immacolata, devoting himself completely to children, the poor and the sick; he was so devoted to this cause that he dedicated all the proceeds from his business activities to charitable works, including the creation of the new and for the time very modern headquarters of the Oratorio dell'Immacolata, in 1903. Currently Sala Greppi hosts numerous concerts throughout the year.
