Magnolini Refuge ---

At an altitude of 1610m in the Pian della Palù locality, the Magnolini Refuge is a must-stop destination for families with children. A safe path and green meadows surrounding it are the defining features of this refuge, reachable in about thirty minutes starting from Varzelli, from the Malga Alta di Pora, and this is certainly the best option for those coming from Castione della Presolana. The longer trail 558 is also very popular, which, starting from Lovere with access from Ceratello in the Ciar locality, leads to the refuge along a three-hour route through mountain huts and pastures. From the refuge you can reach the summit of the nearby Monte Alto. There are 20 beds and 80 seats.
