
Parco dell'Adda ---
The Parco dell'Adda is a protected natural area of 5,800 hectares that winds along the banks of the Adda river. Ideal for hiking, cycling or horseback riding and for birdwatching. Walking along the riverbanks you will encounter a wide variety of plants: black alders, plane trees, birches, willows and oaks, and in the marshy areas numerous water flowers, such as water lilies, yellow wild lilies and lily of the valley. Within the park there is a site of community importance due to the presence of various marsh-type habitats: discover them in the Brivio marshland. The park is also interesting for its typical fauna: the queen of amphibians is the tree frog with its bright green livery and a black stripe running along its sides.
