Frizzoni Palace ---

The palace takes its name from its patron, Enrico Frizzoni, who by testamentary will desired it to serve as the seat of the Municipality. A work by Rodolfo Vantini, the palace was built between 1836 and 1840 in neoclassical style: the architecture indeed draws from Greco-Roman style with twelve Corinthian pilasters that divide the windows of the facade, as well as the portico with eight Ionic columns that you will find upon entering. On the occasion of institutional celebratory events, you will have the opportunity to visit the interiors of the building as well! At the end of the grand staircase, you will find the hall used for council meetings. Entering instead the Hall of Mirrors, you can admire the wonderful mosaic floor, with the Frizzoni coat of arms at its center, composed of two arrows bound together.
