Located in Clusone, facing the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, the Oratory of the Disciplini is a medieval building from the 14th century, built by the confraternity of the Disciplini of Bergamo as the headquarters of their order. The structure presents itself as a simple building but possesses numerous frescoes of great value: the most important fresco is by Clusone painter Giacomo Borlone de Buschis, divided into 5 parts, which represents a unique synthesis in Europe of themes of death at the end of the Middle Ages. We can find the Triumph of Death and the Danza Macabra on the exterior and the Life of Jesus with the Crucifixion on the interior.
