Museum of African Art and Culture African Village ---

In a convent built by the great 15th-century Bergamo military commander Bartolomeo Colleoni, there is now a museum dedicated to sub-Saharan African culture. The Dominican friars left in 1920 to make way for the Passionists, who created the Museum in 1984 and donate the proceeds to their missions in Kenya and Tanzania. It is an interactive museum: you will not only be able to observe, but also handle objects, participate in workshops and activities, following the multimedia guide on tablet or smartphone. You will transform yourself into a true African and experience what it means to live in a village!
