Gallina Plaque ---

A grey marble plaque placed in 1329 and renewed in 1696, as it was already partially illegible by then, commemorates the cleaning of the Vasi aqueduct, commissioned by municipal podestà Beccaro Beccaris. The works involved the section of the aqueduct from the Castagneta locality to the ancient gate of S. Alessandro (slightly downstream of the present-day Colle Aperto).
