CHURCH OF SAN VITTORE ---
The Church of San Vittore is located in the municipality of Calcio, a village with a thousand-year history that rises in the plain along the banks of the Oglio river. It is an imposing architectural work: by size, it is the second largest church in Lombardy, after the Milan Cathedral. Of relatively recent construction, dating back to the XVIII century and completed only in 1880, it is characterized by a grandiose facade and a splendid dome, adorned with precious stucco statues depicting the apostles. The interior, decorated between the late 1800s and early 1900s, houses precious paintings by Enea Salmeggia and significant works from the XVII and XVIII centuries. http://bassabergamascaorientale.it/punti-di-interesse/chiese/chiesa-san-vittore/ https://www.parrocchiadicalcio.org/
