Positioned at the crossroads between the "Cremasca" and the "Francesca", two of the major commercial routes that traverse the Bergamo plain, Urgnano Castle has lost nothing of its charm over its seven centuries of existence! We recommend entering from the South entrance, embellished by a 19th-century fake ravelin (an additional external fortification protecting the bridge) that leads to the drawbridge. The interior, while maintaining the building's military structure, has been renovated as a noble palace and has acquired a more opulent beauty.
